"We are getting closer and closer to global warming of 1.5 degrees. This requires all of us to make a daily contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions. It demands not only motivation and perseverance, but also green technologies that are suitable for everyday use and have an immediate effect on climate protection.
That's why I'm particularly proud of our holistic approach. Our idea can generate renewable wind energy anywhere and has the potential to reach everyone. Because our technology not only helps those who can afford it, but also enables the weakest to participate. This makes us all winners!"
On a warm summer day in 2010, Mathias was sitting on a park bench in Berlin, enjoying the sun. His attention was captured by the dancing movements of the treetops above him, swaying to the rhythm of the wind.
Mathias asked himself: How much wind power would it take to move the treetops? And can this rhythmic wind power be used to generate energy? This idea stuck with him.
He began researching and discovered that wind turbines, which use a rotor as an energy converter, need consistent wind to efficiently generate electricity. The rhythmic wind from the farm, with its strong gusts, could not be used by any existing wind turbine.
This is where his vision was born: to develop a new type of system that would also capture the power of gusts of wind and convert it into sustainable energy. Efficient, innovative and in harmony with nature.
